Richard Lawry’s Departure

Richard Lawry, our vicar, announced on Sunday 20th January that he would be leaving Norbury to take up a post looking after 5 churches in North Norfolk, centred on Blakeney. We wish Richard and his wife Brenda every success as they follow God’s calling to another part of the country. Their ability and amiability will be much missed, and we feel privileged to have had them with us at Norbury for almost ten years. Richard said: “We’ll be really sad to leave Norbury and all the wonderful people here, but we’re also very much looking forward to the new challenge God is calling us to, and the new communities God is sending us to serve.” Richard’s leaving date is unknown at present, though it’s likely to be shortly after Easter.

Prayer Corner

Please do make use of our prayer corner (front right corner of church – at the front of the south aisle). Spend some quiet time there; use the prayer resources; perhaps light a candle, or fill in a prayer card if there’s someone you’d like us to include in prayers in services; or ask one of us to talk or pray there with you. It’s there for everyone, whenever the church is open.
