This year’s strawberry tea in support of the Shoebox appeal takes place on Saturday 9th July at Rob and Hilary’s house, 122 Cavendish Road from 1pm till 5pm. The service is at 6.30pm on Sunday 3rd July, at St Thomas’, Stockport. Please come and support them. There will be no 6.30pm service at Norbury that evening.
Norbury Mothers’ Union Evening Group are holding a Strawberry Cream Tea at 96 Sandown Road on Saturday, 2nd July from 2-4 pm. Tickets are £3.50 and will be on sale after the 10.15am. Service. Everyone welcome.

There will be an open meeting on Wednesday 6th July at 8.00pm, where Marion White will speak about the organisation “Hope for Justice”, working to combat modern-day slavery. This is at Hazel Grove Baptist Church – all welcome.
On Saturday 25th June, we will be showing Rain Man a winner of 4 Oscars. It stars Dustin Hoffman as an autistic savant and Tom Cruise as his worldly and selfish brother. Refreshments from 6.30pm with film starting 7.00pm. All welcome
On Thursday, 9th June in the Legh Room, from 2 – 4 pm, we will be celebrating the 90th birthday of our Queen and 140 years of Mothers’ Union. Red, white or blue items would be welcomed for our stalls. Tickets are £2.50 (including a Cream Tea) and will be on sale after the 10.15… Read more »
To celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday, we are having a day of special services on Sunday 12th June. In the morning at 10.15am there will be an All-Age Communion.
